Privacy Policy
Effective September 27, 2026. Updated October 26, 2026.
The Texas Live Events Coalition (“TXLEC”, “we”) runs inform-txlec.org. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you use the contact form: your name, email address, company and message.
When you join or sign up for updates: your name, email address and company. If you join as a member, also your title, type of business and business website; once you confirm by email you are listed in our member directory.
If you are a TXLEC member: the directory details you or your company give us: name, company, title, business website, business address and email address.
When you look up your legislators: the address you enter goes to the US Census Bureau once to find your districts. We do not save it. Anything you type into a letter stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
When you open one of our emails: whether and when the email was opened. We use this to see which updates are useful. We do not track which links you click.
What we never collect: pricing, rates, wages, capacity, bookings or any other commercial information about your business. TXLEC members compete with one another, and we keep that information out of our systems entirely.
Cookies
The public pages use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not identify you to us. A single sign-in cookie is set only for TXLEC staff who log in to the administrative area.

Your choices
- Unsubscribe: every email has an unsubscribe link, and it takes effect immediately.
